Why might I need a skin peel?

   

There are 3 basic skin types: normal, oily and dry.

Each skin type has certain characteristics that require specific treatment. Your skin type may change during your lifetime due to state of health, climate effects and stress. As it changes your skin can suffer from one or several conditions such as dehydration, the appearance of acne, discoloration and ageing. A chemical skin peel can help correct and greatly improve all of these skin problems.

 

What happens during a chemical skin peel treatment?

 

We begin by cleansing your skin and follow with a pre-peel conditioner, the skin peel application, peel neutraliser and finish with a massage and mask.

Please note that a full skin assessment is a vital first step to any Noon chemical skin peel treatment. This allows us to make a thorough assessment of your skin and determine the exact treatment protocol for you. You will be advised at this stage which Noon product(s) you need to purchase to use at home to prepare your skin for your first peel treatment.

What does the skin peel treatment feel like?

 

Most people feel a tingling sensation during the peel. The DermaShieldTM technology in the Noon products drastically diminishes any unpleasant sensations often associated with peels.

 

What happens after the skin peel?

 

Some people have no adverse reaction after their peel, others have mild to moderate redness and may experience continued tingling for a while - this generally depends on your skin type.
If you have very sensitive skin you may have more intense or prolonged redness. We advise you to use your recommended Noon products during your skin peel treatments to gain the very best results.

How many sessions will I need?

 

This will be discussed with you during your skin assessment and may vary from 1-6 peels. We offer a discount when buying a course of either 3 or 6 Noon skin peel treatments.
